Pair Vintage Chinese Floral Enamel Cloisonne Lidded Jars Foo Dog Finials in Box

  

This is a pair of really pretty vintage Chinese enamel cloisonne lidded urns or vases in their original cardboard box. If you look at the close up photographs you will see this enamel work is not joined up. Its referred to as OPENWORK. I have had similar Chinese vases and jars before of much lesser quality work than this pair. These are really nice examples.

They both have a nice colourful floral pattern on with gilt Foo Dog finials for handles on the lids. They both come with a little individual carved wood stand to sit on. No maker's marks etc. But one does have its original label on the bottom that reads Made in the Peoples Republic of China. Also says hand made cloisonne ware.

They come in their original cardboard box packaging. Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself. Normal signs of age and use wear. There may be some minor cracks in the enamelling but no major areas of damage on the urns as far as I can see.

There are some manufacturing errors where the enamelling has not been applied perfectly. 6 and 3/4 inches tall in total including the base and finial x 4 and 1/2 inches in diameter at their widest point. My stock ref : #T223/26523 in Asian vases cabinet. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are. In the title or description it means.

Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years.
