An Antique Cloisonné Box, Round. 19th century, possibly early 20th century.

Made of bronze metal w/numerous colors to include jade green, purple, blue, red, yellow, pink. Cloisonné enamelware is made by fusing small pieces of material such as powdered color mineral in enamel. The enamel is a layer of glass melted onto the surface. The round shape is commonly associated with a seal box. The design is colorful and elegantly arranged(see pictures).

It measures 3 ½" in diameter, 2" tall. The condition is excellent, very clean and well preserved. There are no cracks, chips, dents, or flaws. It is an older piece and has a nice aged patina to the bronze.
